Answers about how Vertex Match works today. The game has not been released yet; once it reaches the stores, the store listing is what applies.
How do I restore my purchases?
In the game store, use the "Restore purchases" button. It brings back what is permanent, such as ad removal. Coins are not restored: they were already spent inside the game, and you keep only the balance you have on your device.
Why does the game have ads?
Vertex Match shows ads. Some appear between levels, never right after you lose one. Others only appear if you choose to watch them, the rewarded ads, which can give you an extra life when you are out of lives, a chance to continue the level, or double the reward for a win. Buying "remove ads" removes the ads between levels; rewarded ads stay available because they are optional.
How do lives work?
You have five lives. Losing a level costs one life, and winning costs nothing. Each spent life comes back after 25 minutes. Out of lives, you can wait, use a rewarded ad, or get lives in the game store with coins.
What is the privacy consent, and how do I change my choice?
Where the law requires it, such as in Europe and the United Kingdom, the game shows Google's consent form before any ad. On iPhone and iPad, the game also asks whether you allow the use of the advertising identifier. Declining changes nothing in the game: ads still appear, but they are no longer personalised. On iOS, change your answer in Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking. On Android, use Settings, Google, Ads. Details are in the privacy policy. Vertex Match privacy policy.
What does the daily gift do?
When you open the game on a new day, you can claim a gift. The gifts follow a seven-day cycle that grows and starts over. If you skip a day, the streak goes back to day one. What counts is the calendar day, not 24 hours.
Is my progress saved? How do I contact the developer?
What the game saves about your play stays on your device. To reach Vertex, use the "Developer contact" section of the Vertex Match listing on the App Store or Google Play, once the game is there. The contact page explains how. Contact page.
